I know the picture is far from readable, but it's one of the items off my fashion board. it's a great recipe to use to seal split ends. I clipped the article out of Seventeen Magazines February issue.
here is what it says:
coconut oil + apple cider vinegar
seal split ends
-rub a few drops of coconut oil between your palms, then run your hands through your hair (avoiding the roots).
-wait 15 minutes for the oil to soak in, then hop in the shower and shampoo your hair. rinse in cold water.
-next pour one cup apple cider vinegar (diluted with a bit of water) over your head, and follow with another cool rinse.
that's from Mara Roszak who is Emma Stone's stylist(:
I hope you all enjoyed it.
xox.
That's cool! I'll have to try that.
ReplyDeleteBut do you know where I could get coconut oil? =]
thanks(: I'm fairly certain that you can get it at somewhere like walmart, & if not try trader joes or another all natural supermarket.
ReplyDeleteYou can also find coconut oil by the brand name parachute in most Indian grocery stores!! It is much cheaper! That's where I get it! And this method really works well, even if you don't have split ends! It gives your hair a glorious shine!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the tip!
