This is my ever growing collection of head bands! The one on the farthest left is a really old one that is brown & black, the nest one is a think black one, then a thin black one, next a studded super thick one, then a wavy black one, then a crystal and black one, then a super thick purple one, then a light pink thin one, then a bright pink thin shimmery one, then a thin nude one, then a small pearl one, then a white thin one, then a reflective thin silver one, then a powder blue thin one & lastly an average sized royal blue shimmery one! Geez, I have quite the array of headbands, this doesn't even include all the fabric ones or the other ones I use that my sister and mom own.If you know of anywhere that sells cute green & red ones, let me know those are the two colors that I am missing.
ps. let me know if you want to know where any specific ones are from(:
What's in my purse? Well I figured it was time for a good spring cleaning since as you can tell my purse it quite a mess. Sorry the top picture is distorted, I tried fixing it.
For starters, my purse is from Nine West however I am not sure of the exact name for this style. I got it in February from my mom & I love it. It is so nice & roomy, perfect for school.
So, what did I find inside the purse? I had my wallet, empty camera case, pink easer, hair brush, green gloves, pink mint lip gloss, bali mango lotion, mulberry lip gloss, my house key, a flash drive, random loose change, sensodyne tooth paste, a swat car toy, my t-83 calculator, elf hyper gloss, mini playdoh(:, a bouncy ball, three nail polishes (mint green from Revlon, lacey lilac from Sally Hansen & Shatter from OPI), empty pack of orbit gum, small travel sun screen, a few random pens & a travel pack of tissues. as you can tell, my purse was loaded of random stuff!
These are my little sisters nails. for Easter she received the Sally Hansen Salon Effect Polish Strips. They were a bit tedious to apply to her nails, but as you can tell they look so nice. I have two different patterns I am going to use once my nails grow out a bit more! Mine are in Laced Up & Wild Child. Hers is called Collide-O-Scope.
I love how these turned out! I used Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails in Lacey Lilac & a Sally Hansen Nail art pen. I have had my nails like this for a few days, so the polish isn't looking it's best, but I still really like it.
I think that this is a great chapstick. It smells slightly minty but it's not overbearing. The color is a medium pink that is just a shade or two lighter than my actual lip color. The tint itself doesn't do much for my lips besides add a light shimmer. I don't really like the way it adds a frosty look to my lips, but it's not too noticeable. I also like that it has SPF 15 for summer! I doubt that this would be a good chapstick for the winter when my lips are very dry but it's nice for spring & summer(:
As I have realized lately, my camera quality simply sucks since I've been taking them on my phone then sending them to my computer. I will start using my actual camera soon! But onto what this post is about, my nail polish. For Easter weekend I have painted them an adorable shade of pastel green. It is from Revlon in the shade Minted. I really love the color but the only downfall to it is how runny the formula is. It takes at least 2-3 coats before it is no longer transparent. Concluding my thoughts on this polish, the color is so nice that I would recommend it to anyone as long as you have the patience to apply multiple coats.
I know the picture is far from readable, but it's one of the items off my fashion board. it's a great recipe to use to seal split ends. I clipped the article out of Seventeen Magazines February issue.
here is what it says:
coconut oil + apple cider vinegar
seal split ends
-rub a few drops of coconut oil between your palms, then run your hands through your hair (avoiding the roots).
-wait 15 minutes for the oil to soak in, then hop in the shower and shampoo your hair. rinse in cold water.
-next pour one cup apple cider vinegar (diluted with a bit of water) over your head, and follow with another cool rinse.
that's from Mara Roszak who is Emma Stone's stylist(: I hope you all enjoyed it.
Some people have inspiration boards full of pictures & quotes that motivate them. I, however, have a cork board covered in magazine clippings of pictures & beauty tips. Lets see there is:
-A hair mask recipe
-2 close up pictures of eye makeup
-a picture of Vanessa Hudgens
-A picture of a girl in a cute jean dress
-A full face of makeup & its tutorial
-A cute crop top
-Some other stuff that blew of onto my floor because my window was open(: Yeah so that is all stuff that inspires my daily looks. I turn to it often when I feel like I'm in a rut, it is posted right next to my closet. I really like it & am adding more soon!
ps. sorry for the low quality, I took the picture on my phone.
OOTD: sorry I don't have pictures, but today was pretty boring! to school I wore my uniform: khaki pants, grey polo & sperry's. After school I am wearing black yoga pants & a purple cheetah tank top from pink. all I am doing tonight is going to my grandmas for pizza so I nothing to dress up for. FOTD: nothing too exciting, monday's are pretty lazy for me. I threw on some Sheer Cover Lengthening Mascara & a bit of my YBF Bronzer.
I went to the mall last night to pick up a few things:
-Riley Ring Set from Forever 21
-F9703 Nude Colored Sunglasses
-Flirty Pink Essential V-Neck Tee
-Blue Striped Yoga Workout Bra
Also last night was the Grand Opening for Sephora and it was my first time visiting one.
